Position Overview

Our Internal Crane Division is seeking a skilled Crane Technician to enhance our operational capabilities. Reporting directly to the Principal Crane Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting Periodic Third-Party Inspections (PTPIs) throughout Australia, focusing on the evaluation of crane maintenance and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive crane inspections
  • Prepare detailed reports based on inspection findings utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Manage documentation effectively
  • Engage with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Prioritize safety in all operations
  • Collaborate with the Principal Crane Engineer on safety investigations

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive individual who values safety and possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Mechanical or Electrical trade background with a strong mechanical aptitude (dual trade preferred)
  • Relevant crane experience and qualifications
  • Safety as a fundamental principle
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Understanding of maintenance strategies
  • Capability to identify and implement improvement initiatives
