The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets. This role demands a deep understanding of the EdTech, LMS, or HR Tech industry and the ability to leverage extensive sales experience and strategic thinking to execute business plans and achieve measurable results.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
- Craft and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Analyse market trends and adjust strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure team members achieve their targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to expand the customer base and enhance customer retention.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to meet their needs.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in a Senior SaaS sales role.
- At least 3 years of experience leading and managing a business development function.
- Deep understanding of the EdTech, LMS, or HR Tech industry is highly preferred.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive measurable results.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with implementing sales development and analysis tools.
