At our resort, we strive to create an unforgettable vacation experience for our guests. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Reception desk and providing exceptional service to our owners and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Reception desk, including greeting and registering of owners and guests.
- Provide accurate information about local area attractions, administration, and manage any guest issues that may arise.
- Build, develop, train and lead a team to promote high levels of customer service.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Front Office department at a supervisory level, preferably as a Team Leader, Shift Supervisor or Duty Manager.
- Knowledge of hotel property management systems, preferably Opera.
- Experience with events is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and active listening.
- Detail focused with an organized approach and ability to multitask.
- A positive attitude, vibrant and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
- Bookkeeping/finance experience is highly regarded.
- Immaculate presentation and grooming standards.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school/public holiday periods.
- The capability to work in a fast-paced environment both as part of a team and autonomously.
