Expert Capital Investment Specialist
The Victorian Health Building Authority seeks an experienced professional to provide expert investment advice to senior leaders, guiding the development of capital projects from planning through to business case.
This role requires a unique blend of commercial acumen and technical expertise to drive health outcomes for Melbourne and Victoria by working alongside skilled experts who are bringing forward-thinking projects to life.
The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and deliver results. They will possess superior time management and organisational skills, as well as a flexible and agile approach to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Director Development, manage the capital investment pipeline and annual business case program, providing expert commercial advice to project managers/officers through each stage of the capital development lifecycle.
- Lead the engagement and management of commercial advisors to support the development of robust business cases, compliant with Government requirements.
- Prepare timely and expert advice on investment and commercial matters to senior leaders, Cabinet, ministerial, executive, and advisory boards, and steering committees.
- Develop and manage investment and assurance frameworks for reporting routines and data analysis to support decision making across priority outcomes.
