Senior Finance Analyst - Capital Investment

This pivotal role plays a central part in shaping our Electricity and Gas Distribution business by delivering strategic financial insights, commercial analysis, and informed advice.

The Senior Finance Analyst will lead in managing large-scale capital investments, while fostering strong partnerships across the Management Team and Finance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic finance expertise within complex or regulated environments.
  • Leading high-performing finance teams and collaborating with professionals to drive business outcomes.
  • Identifying and articulating key business drivers and KPIs in multi-disciplinary settings.
  • Delivering meaningful insights through combining internal and external data sources.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field, preferably with CA or CPA certification.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to Networks and Gas Markets.
  • Proficiency in SAP and BI tools, including modules such as FI/CO, CATS, PS, HR, and PM.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis.
