Job Opportunity: Professional Motor Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced motor mechanic to join our professional service team. As a motor mechanic at our organization, you will be responsible for conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults using electronic and manual diagnostic tools
  • Inspecting and overhauling engines, gearboxes, brake systems, and suspension components
  • Performing roadworthy checks, safety inspections, and compliance testing
  • Replacing worn or damaged parts, including clutches, timing belts, water pumps, and batteries
  • Carrying out tyre rotations, balancing, and alignments (training provided if required)
  • Completing service reports, updating job cards, and maintaining accurate service records
  • Working safely in line with occupational health and safety (OHS) standards
  • Assisting team members and delivering great service to customers and fleet accounts
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)
  • At least 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems in light vehicles
  • Familiarity with diagnostic scan tools and workshop equipment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety and service quality
