Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our property and grounds team at Emmaus College. As a Facilities Maintenance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the College's facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on College buildings and grounds, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of College assets.
- Collaborate with the property and grounds team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to College staff and students.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work at heights.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time ongoing role working 7.30am- 3.30pm with some occasional additional hours required to support the program.
