About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team in South East Brisbane or Gold Coast regions. As a Clinical Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in conducting assessments, developing behavioural support plans and programs, and supervising other practitioners.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support, as well as proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Therapist.

The successful candidate will have high-level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely manner. They will also have effective time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to these skills, the successful candidate will have a current NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check, as well as a valid driver's licence and vehicle.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct assessments and develop behavioural support plans and programs
  • Supervise other practitioners and provide support and training
  • Work with various professionals, including doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of incidents and plans

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Therapist
  • High-level oral and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Current NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check
  • Valid driver's licence and vehicle
