Role Overview

This is a full-time Payroll Officer position available in our North Sydney head office. The successful candidate will be part of a larger payroll team, working collaboratively to deliver accurate and compliant payroll services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume payroll operations using SAP, with a strong understanding of multiple Enterprise Agreements and their complexities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and validate employment conditions for new hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, wage changes, allowances, deductions, superannuation, personal data updates, and employee benefits.
  • Conduct weekly, fortnightly, and monthly compliance audit reports to proactively identify and resolve errors.
  • Interpret EBA requirements to maintain compliance with over 90 Enterprise Agreements.
  • Manage ServiceNow tickets and inquiries from stakeholders, collaborating with internal P&C teams to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Experience in high-volume payroll operations using SAP.
  • Strong understanding of multiple EBAs and their complexities.
  • Excel (intermediate to advanced skills).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to escalate issues and advise stakeholders on complex matters.
