We are seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to join our team at a residential home.

You will work with a dedicated team of people and your contribution will make a difference to residents' daily life.

Our team offers support and mentoring to ensure you thrive in your role.

The Role

This is a key position responsible for managing maintenance services at the home.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating routine maintenance activities inside and outside the home.
  • Overseeing external contractors such as pest control and electrical services.
  • Maintaining equipment, building, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Managing the home's grounds.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous general maintenance experience.
  • Prior painting experience.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work semi-autonomously.
  • Experience and understanding of legislative requirements for essential services and WHS requirements for maintenance & repairs.
  • A trade qualification (desirable).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of the aged care industry (favourably considered).
  • A current driver's license, police check, and valid working rights.
  • Current influenza vaccination.
