About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated poultry hand to maintain optimal conditions for layer hens, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

  • Conduct regular feed, water, and light checks;
  • Maintain equipment and perform general maintenance tasks;
  • Ensure bird welfare and conduct inspections on egg systems and belts;
  • Participate in cleaning and servicing of sheds and equipment as required.
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid driver's license;
  • Previous experience in the poultry industry (not essential but highly regarded);
  • A robust physical nature and ability to work autonomously when required;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Reliability, punctuality, and motivation;
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
