Poultry Farm Operations Manager

Our goal is to produce high-quality eggs from well-cared-for hens in a sustainable and socially responsible manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and supervision of poultry farm operations, including the welfare and health of domestic poultry.
- Manage daily inspections of poultry to ensure bird health is maintained.
- Ensure adherence to all quarantine and biosecurity standards.
- Implement maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve overall efficiency.
- Achieve poultry farm production goals through effective planning and coordination.
- Train staff to maintain high poultry welfare standards.
This role requires working in a rural environment with a focus on assisting and supervising the management, planning, organisation, controlling, coordination, and performance of poultry farming operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in poultry farm management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of poultry health and welfare practices.
Working Conditions:
Working in a relaxed, rural environment in the heart of Queensland is a key requirement for this role. The successful candidate will be required to assist and supervise the management, planning, organisation, controlling, coordination, and performance of poultry farming operations.
