Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Erskine Park. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the warehousing operation by managing and coordinating inventory processes, systems, and reporting.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain an optimal standard of inventory management and control. This includes undertaking and coordinating activities such as managing and coordinating inventory processes, liaising with customers on inventory issues, reporting, and adjustments.

Additionally, you will identify discrepancies, conduct investigations, and prepare reports. You will also manage the annual, cyclical, and/or ad-hoc stocktaking processes, analyze the velocity of inventory to identify fast and slow-moving stock, and make recommendations.

Furthermore, you will plan for and help implement new inventory into the operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate inventory processes, systems, and reporting
  • Liaise with customers on inventory issues, reporting, and adjustments
  • Identify discrepancies, conduct investigations, and prepare reports
  • Manage the annual, cyclical, and/or ad-hoc stocktaking processes
  • Analyze the velocity of inventory to identify fast and slow-moving stock, and make recommendations

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Requirements

  • Experience gained in an inventory role within warehousing/storage or similar
  • Experience in managing/operating inventory systems, procedures, and practices
  • Experience in managing/coordinating cyclical and annual stocktakes across a large SKU base
  • Strong MS Excel skills to populate, manipulate, and understand data
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills
