Job Title: Configuration Management Professional

 

The role of the Configuration Management Professional plays a pivotal part in ensuring the success of our clients by providing expertise in configuration management.

 

This position requires an experienced professional to develop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes and procedures for technical systems.

 

The key responsibilities include supporting client product management, level 1 service support for existing and new enterprises, data analysis services to support Enterprise Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) adoption and improvement, and onboarding processes & services.

 

The Configuration Management Professional will liaise with client enterprises as required to seek clarification or provide guidance on identified misalignments and related supporting information, ensure solutions are developed with appropriate OQE for review and target client enterprise, and perform data alignment re-work if/as required, leading up to and after the set to work of AMPS and CMT-U and NAVALLOW adaptors/interfaces.

 

For this challenging yet rewarding role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering (a related field or equivalent relevant experience), proven experience in configuration management and asset management, preferably in the context of AMPS, CMT-U, MILIS or similar environment, knowledge of configuration management tools and software, and strong understanding of version control systems and best practices.
