Quality Assurance Professional

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment, applying advanced engineering and statistical techniques for process control.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Helidon. This role involves providing QA/QC subject matter expertise to ensure product compliance, driving process improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality assurance and quality control expertise;
  • Apply advanced engineering and statistical techniques for process control;
  • Drive process improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity;
  • Ensure site quality management systems align with ISO 9001 standards; and
  • Support value-driven quality systems across the plant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with several years' experience in a manufacturing industry environment;
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and auditor qualifications;
  • Experience in lean, project planning, structured problem solving, and liaising with process experts to develop solutions;
  • Minitab experience or advanced levels with MS Excel;
  • Knowledge of systems and their documentation;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously;
  • Ability to deliver on project requirements;
  • High attention to detail; and
  • Experience in auditing.
