
Strategic Business Development Manager

The primary focus of this role is to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers, creating bespoke waste management solutions that meet complex technical requirements.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with existing clients through proactive contract maintenance.
- Manage the entire tender process from inception to closure.
- Develop and execute robust business development strategies to drive new revenue streams.
- Promote our company's commitment to sustainable waste management practices across new markets to support growth initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration between Cleanaway business units to ensure Liquid Technical Services solutions are accessible to all large-scale projects.
- Provide regular reporting on financial and sales performance.
About You:
- You will possess exceptional B2B relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of creating and executing successful business pipelines.
- Experience and comfort level in understanding technical details, as well as a willingness to learn about hazardous waste treatment.
- Effective commercial acumen, solid negotiating and influencing skills.
- A collaborative communication style, with an outstanding new business/sales track record.
- Previous experience in chemical or allied industries, such as transport, oil, and gas.
- The ability to work independently, be well-organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive our sustainable approach to waste management in new areas.
- Network between business units to ensure Liquid Technical Services solutions are available to all large projects.
