The Opportunity:

Field Sales Manager – Industrial Waste Services

About the role?

You'll be supporting and growing a team of Field Sales professionals based in QLD and NSW. With 4 direct reports (and potential for more), your focus will be on coaching for performance, nurturing and developing your team and ensuring we're positioned as a partner of choice in the market.

This isn't your standard desk job, we're looking for someone who's comfortable with monthly interstate travel and experienced in supporting teams remotely. You'll go where the need is, staying connected with your people and our customers on the ground.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Field Sales team across QLD and NSW, with a focus on growth and performance
  • Manage and grow a customer portfolio across the East Coast, driving strategic sales outcomes
  • Support bids and tenders, leveraging your commercial insight to secure long-term contracts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and senior leaders to align sales strategy with business goals
  • Travel interstate monthly to stay connected with your team, customers, and opportunities on the ground

You're an energetic and passionate leader who brings out the best in your team. With a track record of leading high-performing sales or operations teams, you thrive in fast-paced environments and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves. You're tenacious, driven by results, and always looking for ways to grow – both your people and the business. Confident, collaborative, and commercially savvy, you lead with purpose and never lose sight of the bigger picture.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience leading teams, with the ambition and capability to step up into a more senior role in time
  • Background in operations or sales – we're flexible, it's your leadership that matters
  • Experience managing national portfolios and navigating complex, high-value customer relationships
  • Comfortable with (or curious about) bids and tenders
  • Ideally, you'll bring remote leadership experience and know how to motivate teams across states
  • We're open to industry background – you don't need to come from waste to make an impact here
