About the Opportunity

This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the delivery of exceptional care to our patients while working collaboratively with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and managing acute inpatients, including those in ICU, and providing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal communication and swallowing function.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Speech Pathology Australia's professional standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility for membership in Speech Pathology Australia.
  • At least 4 years of experience in adult Speech Pathology, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
