Customer Service and Food Preparation AssistantDescription:
We are seeking a part-time customer service and food preparation assistant to join our team. As a key member of our front house staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food orders accurately, operating the cash register efficiently, preparing and wrapping food items, maintaining a clean work environment, and contributing to salad bar preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food orders and operate the cash register with precision
- Prepare and wrap food items to high standards of quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Contribute to the preparation of our salad bar, ensuring a wide variety of fresh ingredients are available
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take accurate orders and operate the cash register with ease
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
