The Role:

We are seeking a reliable Cold Larder Assistant at our educational facility in Croydon. As a member of our catering team, your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving meals, maintaining food hygiene and safety practices, and assisting the broader team as required.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing and serving high-quality meals to our clients
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Re-stocking as required and ensuring adequate inventory levels
  • Special diet modifications including allergies/intolerances, supplements and texture modified purees
  • Assisting the broader team with tasks and duties as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the needs of our clients
  • Previous experience in kitchens, food preparation, or customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
  • Reliability and punctuality with regards to attendance and meeting deadlines
