We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Plena Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing personalized treatments to our clients in Residential Aged Care and Community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop clinical recommendations to support clients' activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote clients' independence and well-being.
- Provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers to enhance their understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in occupational therapy.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Australian working rights.
- Ability to obtain NDIS worker screening and National Police Check.
