Breakthru Career Coach

This role supports individuals to access meaningful employment and build lasting careers by working collaboratively with participants to explore career goals, build confidence, and connect them to opportunities.

You'll collaborate with employers to understand their needs and provide staffing solutions that fit, including training and promoting inclusive hiring practices.

  • Sourcing and Placement: Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
  • Inclusive Employment: Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.
  • Employer Engagement: Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
  • Work Experience: Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Disability Confidence Training: Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Awareness and Inclusion: Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Network Building: Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Organisational Promotion: Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
