As a journalist, you will be responsible for gathering, editing and presenting compelling local news stories in a composed, accurate and engaging manner.

  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key people and organisations.
  • Breaking stories and creating engaging content.
  • Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

About You:

You'll be a driven and energetic graduate, with the ability to think clearly and act quickly under pressure, possessing excellent communication skills to collaborate with different stakeholders internally, as well as externally with the local community.

You will have:

  • A degree in journalism, or related subject (e.g. media & communications).
  • Proven journalism/ editorial skills.
  • A solid understanding of media law and ethics.
  • Competency in script writing in TV News format.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
