Regional News Reporter Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and energetic journalism graduate to join our regional news team. As a regional news reporter, you will be responsible for gathering, editing, and presenting compelling local news stories in a composed, accurate, and engaging manner.

  • Foster positive relationships with key people and organisations in the region.
  • Develop and deliver engaging content that captures the essence of local issues and events.
About You:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling, has excellent communication skills, and can think clearly and act quickly under pressure. You should possess a degree in journalism or a related subject, as well as a solid understanding of media law and ethics.

  • A degree in journalism, media & communications, or a related field.
  • A deep understanding of media law and ethics principles.
  • Competency in script writing for TV news format.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently.
