Dedicated Spiritual Care Professional

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead our Spiritual Care Approach, ensuring every individual receives comprehensive support for their mind, body, and spirit.
This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement a contemporary spiritual care model across multiple residential aged care facilities. You will report directly to the General Manager of Wellbeing and Allied Programs and play a key role in supporting older people to maintain essential spiritual connections with meaningful and inclusive spiritual care.
You will oversee the delivery of integrated spiritual care services that align with our wellbeing strategy and Model of Care, where spiritual and emotional wellbeing are recognized as vital to quality aged care. You will drive continuous improvement in spiritual care practice, including ongoing program monitoring and strategy development.
Key Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in theology/ministry, counselling, pastoral care or equivalent from an appropriately accredited institution.
- Capacity to work at Level 3 or 4 of the Capability Framework for Spiritual Care Practitioners.
- Completing a minimum of one-year full-time spiritual care experience upon completing four Clinical Pastoral Education units.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and administration expertise as a Coordinator and/or Senior Spiritual Care Practitioner.
