Professional Indemnity Specialist

Gilchrist Connell, a leading national law firm operating across Australian jurisdictions, is seeking a skilled professional indemnity specialist to support our Perth team in matters of professional liability.

The ideal candidate will have post-admission experience in insurance and professional indemnity (at least 2 years) and be able to adapt written and verbal communication skills to different audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the work of our Perth team in professional indemnity matters.
  • Work on a variety of insurance matters with a focus on professional indemnity.
  • Take responsibility for progressing matters in a strategic way.
  • Manage client expectations and run matters autonomously with supervision on more complex matters.
  • Solve problems practically and with a client-focused approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post admission experience in insurance and professional indemnity (around 2+ years).
  • Ability to adapt written and verbal communication skills to different audiences.
  • Practical problem solving skills.
  • Client-focused mindset.
