About the Role:

Job Description:

The successful applicant will lead and coordinate property maintenance and groundskeeping operations. This includes managing contractors, overseeing cleaning, waste, and security services.

  • Coordinate property maintenance and groundskeeping operations
  • Manage contractors and oversee cleaning, waste, and security services
  • Maintain buildings, equipment, and essential services registers
  • Oversee the College's transport fleet and ensure compliance and maintenance
  • Manage daily traffic duties and onsite traffic safety
  • Deliver small capital works projects and assist in managing major capital developments
  • Support the Business & Projects Manager with works and refurbishment projects in line with the College's Master Plan
  • Ensure compliance with OHS and statutory requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification in Building, Facilities Management, Property Services, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in property or facilities management, preferably within an educational or community setting
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, groundskeeping, and asset management
  • Understanding of OHS legislation, risk management, and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing contractors, maintenance teams, and service providers
  • Project management experience, including delivery of small capital works and support for major projects
