Job Title: Specialist Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Coach to join our coaching team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering elite-level kicking and catching programs, with a strong technical knowledge of multiple kicking disciplines and advanced catching techniques.

The successful candidate will design and implement high-intensity training programs for professional athletes, collaborating closely with Head Coaches, analysts, and performance staff to align technical and physical development. They will also lead player assessments, development plans, and performance tracking in specialist skill areas.

To thrive in this role, you will be a passionate and driven individual with the ability to work effectively in a high-performance sporting environment. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including coaches, analysts, and players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement elite-level specialist programs in all kicking disciplines and advanced catching under pressure.
  • Provide priority coaching to NRL and NRLW teams while supporting the club's talent Pathway system.
  • Integrate specialist techniques into overall team strategies and game plans.
  • Lead player assessments, development plans, and performance tracking in specialist skill areas.
  • Collaborate with coaches, analysts, and performance staff to align technical and physical development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant high-performance coaching accreditation or equivalent elite-level coaching experience.
  • Proven success in designing and delivering specialist skill programs.
  • Strong understanding of Rugby League technical and tactical requirements.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) and valid Driver's License.
