About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Care Consultant to join our team at Berry Street. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for managing one residential home with up to four young people, providing direct line management of a team of Practitioners, and driving implementation of the Teaching Family Model (TFM) in an existing therapeutic residential home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and operational management of a core team
  • Mentor, coach, and supervise staff to improve outcomes for young people in care
  • Provide supervision, monitor workloads, and individual performance
  • Role model best practice principles and understanding of the Out of Home Care System
About You

We are looking for a leader who is passionate about advocating for young people in care. You will have sound experience working with young people who live with the impacts of trauma and neglect. You will be a self-motivated and driven individual with a keen sense of professional development. A Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or other relevant field is required.
