About the Role

VMCH is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Grampians Region of Victoria. As a Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality allied health support to our clients, working in a goal-oriented and wellness-focused approach. Your role will involve assessing and developing comprehensive treatment plans, conducting home assessments, and providing therapy supports in clients' chosen environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered Physio services, including assessment and development of treatment plans, home assessments, and report writing.
  • Conduct thorough functional assessments to identify accommodation settings or home modifications required for clients' safety and support.
  • Implement a range of intervention and therapy strategies to address clients' needs related to activities of daily living, functional performance, and sensory processing.
  • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and independently, including office-based or remote off-site locations.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
  • Sound theoretical knowledge of complex conditions impacting people with disabilities, the aged, and their carers.
  • Knowledge and skill in assessing, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic plans and services for the elderly.
  • A current Victorian driver's license and evidence of 2022/2023 Flu Vaccination and COVID-19 Vaccination.
