About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position within a secure, long-standing, and progressive business that specializes in designing, constructing, and maintaining new and existing networks for essential services.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and varied administrative support to the Capita Projects team, ensuring consistent delivery of projects and programs across remote, regional, and metropolitan areas.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Examine and validate previous day's work, ensuring accuracy of work completed, information for costings including purchase orders.
- Ensure any adjustments or rework is returned to the field workers and completed in real-time while crew is in the same region.
- Check all quality assurance/documentation and photos are completed and readable.
- Report on the accuracy and completeness of data entry into the WOA, identify and report common themes for ongoing improvement and opportunities.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Project team as required, such as scheduling meetings, documenting and circulating meeting minutes, organizing room bookings, and monitoring, triaging, and responding to emails.
- Actively utilize project management systems and support scheduling and workforce management for job allocation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and possess excellent administrative and communication skills. Attention to detail is crucial, together with your willingness to work cooperatively in a high-paced and frequently changing environment.
Requirements
- Certificate in Business Administration or similar field is desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated understanding of the water and network utility sectors.
- Proficient experience in Microsoft Excel.
- High level of competence with Microsoft Office applications and other applications (e.g. Maximo/Click, Work Order applications, etc.).
- Strong time management and organization skills.
