Job Title: Leisure Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to manage the daily operations of a leisure facility. This includes driving business success through people development and community engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Lead aquatic operations, financial management, staff recruitment, and safety protocols.
  • Leadership Development: Foster a high-performance team through coaching, planning, and execution of operational and financial plans.
  • Community Engagement: Develop relationships with stakeholders to drive overall success and improve customer experience.

Requirements:

  • A seasoned manager with vision and energy, leading by example and fostering a positive work culture.
  • A highly developed performance coaching ability, with experience in planning and execution of operational and financial plans.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a complex business operation, preferably in the leisure industry or hospitality.
  • Strong communication skills with a flair for influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience (2-5 years) in an aquatic or leisure leadership role.
  • Qualifications in Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, Working with Children is preferred.
