Centre Manager

Centre Manager, Avoca Swimming Pool, Avoca 3467 (VIC). Belgravia Leisure operates three iconic facilities within the Pyrenees region as part of a partnership with Pyrenees Shire Council.

• Fully accountable for the venues' operational, financial and program deliverables.
• Develop and execute plans through engagement with your team and the community.
• Lead aquatic operations, financial management, staff recruitment and safety; develop the Centre's relationships with the Community and other stakeholders to drive overall success through people development.

You will be a seasoned and professional manager who leads with vision and energy. A true people leader who can share insights into how you have shaped team performance and articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance.

• Highly developed performance coaching abilities.
• Experience in planning and execution of operational, financial and people plans to successful outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience leading a complex business operation, preferably in the leisure industry or hospitality.
• Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.

• Previous experience (2 to 5 years) in an aquatic or leisure leadership role.
• Qualifications in Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, Working with Children is preferred, though can be arranged for a highly desirable candidate.
