Key Responsibilities- Client Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct thorough assessments and regular monitoring of our residents to ensure their needs are met and any changes are promptly addressed.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of our residents.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of residents' medical histories, treatment plans, and progress, submitting reports as required.
- Deliver Clinical Care: Provide wound and continence management, medication administration, and other clinical care services as needed.
- Support and Advocacy: Advocate for residents' rights to autonomy, dignity, and respect, providing emotional support and ensuring a compassionate care environment.
- Supervision, Advice, and Support: Provide guidance and support to our team of Care Support Workers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Current AHPRA Registration: Hold current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Basic Understanding of Neurological Conditions: Possess a basic understanding of neurological conditions and their impact on residents' lives.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check: Hold a current NDIS Workers Screening Check or be willing to obtain one.
- First Aid and CPR: Hold current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Driver's Licence: Hold a current 'A' Class Driver's Licence.
- Working with Children Check: Hold a current Working with Children Check.
