Job Description">

AMCOR Excavations, a civil earthworks company specializing in gas sector projects, is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join their team for major earthwork projects in the Western Downs Area. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performance team responsible for constructing lease pads and access roads.

As a Diesel Fitter, you will work on a 7-day roster with 7 days off, enjoying on-site accommodation and meals. Competitive rates are offered along with flexible working hours.

The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, maintaining high standards while meeting tight deadlines. Experience in Lean practices and continuous improvement of safe work procedures is essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Current driver's license (HR preferred but not required)
  • Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Confidence in all aspects of plant repairs
  • Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions
  • Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension
  • Basic auto electrical knowledge
  • Competency with computers and digital diagnostics
  • Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety
