Senior Contract Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Specialist to support our business division. This role will be responsible for managing contracts related to network and communications programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop contract strategies and approaches to market for network and communications, IT, and defence type goods and services
  • Plan, draft, execute, and manage various contract types spanning communication and network equipment, IT, and defence hardware
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and drive collaboration to ensure on-time performance and compliance
  • Participate in risk identification, mitigation planning, and progress reporting
  • Ensure compliance with supply chain management and program governance policies and procedures

Key Requirements:

  • Eight (8) years' or more work experience in contracts management, preferably in an engineering or project delivery organization
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in law, commerce, or business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of contracting responsibilities and their interdependencies with other project activities (e.g., engineering, logistics, finance)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
