About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide strategic legal advice on employment and workplace matters, assisting in developing policies and procedures. They will also be responsible for monitoring emerging employment issues and working closely with the People & Culture team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert guidance on employment law matters, including performance management, disciplinary proceedings, and workplace complaints.
- Collaborate with the legal team on broader commercial contracts as required.
- Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with employment and workplace issues.
- A minimum of 8+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
- Previous experience gained from a renowned law firm or in-house organization.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to prioritize multiple matters and stakeholders.
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to work autonomously as part of a team.
- A competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum.
