The Opportunity

Monash University's School of Physics and Astronomy is seeking a continuing Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in astronomy and astrophysics. We are looking for outstanding candidates with expertise in astronomy and astrophysics, aligned with the existing directions of the Monash Astrophysics group.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the vibrant research programs in theoretical, computational, and observational astrophysics. Our research covers a broad spectrum of astrophysics topics, including star formation, stellar evolution, nucleosynthesis, Galactic chemical evolution, compact objects, gravitational waves, and time-domain astronomy.

  • Doctoral Qualification: A PhD in astronomy, astrophysics, or a closely related discipline
