Ugl Pty Limited has an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our team. This role will be based at our Perth office with expectations of regular site travel to our WA Oil site on Barrow Island.

About the Role
  • Oversight of Ugl Pty Limited's core operations at WA Oil, leading a team of supervisors and linesmen responsible for operating and maintaining the 11kV and 22kV overhead distribution network.

The Maintenance Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact for all seconded personnel involved in operations and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Making sure policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
  2. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  3. Conducting audits and inspections to verify work quality.
  4. Promoting a strong safety culture.
  5. Focusing on long-term goals and outcomes.
  6. Aligning project outcomes with organizational priorities.
  7. Working closely with upper management or other stakeholders.
  8. Developing and overseeing project budgets and timelines.
  9. Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  10. Coordinating with leadership, clients, or external partners and sub-contractors.
  11. Managing communication between departments or large teams.
  12. Handling escalated issues and defining solutions to challenges.
  13. Taking responsibility for decision-making during critical moments.
  14. Preparing reports for stakeholders or senior leadership that highlight progress, concerns, successes, or deficits.
About You
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing a team in a leadership role.
  • Understanding of electrical systems/HV distribution network (desirable).
  • Construction White Card.
  • Driver's License.
