Electrical Supervisor

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Supervisor to join our team at the Onslow Iron Project. As a key member of our electrical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

  • The successful candidate will have extensive experience in electrical maintenance and supervision, with a strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and procedures.

  • They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and guidelines.

  • Supervise and support the electrical workgroup to ensure safe and effective maintenance of all plant and equipment.

  • Coordinate and review work crews' job safety analysis and risk assessments.

  • Carry out regular compliance tasks, including statutory installations, inspections, reporting, and record-keeping.

  • Guide electrical personnel in their general duty of care and make training recommendations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • C Class Driver's Licence.

  • Trade certificate and current WA 'A' Grade Electrical Licence.

  • Current HV Certificate.

  • Schedule 26.

  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.

  • Demonstrated experience with PLCs and fault finding, ideally in crushing and mining environments.

  • Ability to qualify as an in-house Electrical Nominee.
