Key Accountabilities
  • Manage maintenance activities for distribution equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective tool and equipment management strategies.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve high-quality results.
  • Lead improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Coordinate the movement of distribution assets, including ISO containers, for maintenance activities at the Pt Kembla facility.
  • Adjust distribution asset movements as needed.

To succeed in this position, you'll need:

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical or Engineering.
  • Extensive experience operating mobile equipment, including forklifts.
  • At least 8 years' experience in a heavy industrial engineering environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of gas monitors and analysers.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and spreadsheets.
  • Proven MIG/TIG welding skills and ability to create workshop drawings.
