Main Duties
  • Oversee maintenance activities for distribution equipment.
  • Perform breakdown maintenance as necessary.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for tool and equipment usage and storage.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Initiate and lead improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the transportation of distribution assets, primarily ISO containers, for maintenance activities at the Pt Kembla facility.
  • Adjust distribution asset movements as needed.

For this role, we require:

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical or Engineering.
  • Considerable experience operating mobile equipment, including forklifts.
  • 8-10 years' experience in a heavy industrial engineering setting is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of gas monitors and analysers.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and spreadsheets.
  • Proven MIG/TIG welding skills and ability to create workshop drawings.
