Our organization seeks an experienced Payroll Officer to join a dynamic team in Leederville. As a key member, you will play a vital role in delivering proactive, customer-focused payroll services in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work 38 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate of up to $58.99.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing payroll and HR records accurately, including base pay, allowances, deductions, superannuation, tax, new hires, terminations, and employee movements.
  • Maintaining personnel records in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Generating HR and payroll reports.
  • Providing advice on employment conditions and entitlements.
  • Resolving complex payroll queries and coaching users on HR systems.
  • Communicating proactively with internal stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience interpreting employment conditions and awards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service focus.
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous payroll experience in a medium to large organization.
