This is a key position in our project team, supporting the delivery of a major mining infrastructure project in Western Australia. We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulatory frameworks.

About the Project:

The role is based on an iron-ore project in WA, a key component of broader site development for a well-established mining operator. As part of a high-performing site-based team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the project meets its environmental objectives while supporting day-to-day construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who can:

  • ">
  • Support the development and implementation of environmental management plans, aligning with legislative requirements and company standards.">
  • Manage and maintain environmental permits and approvals.">
  • Conduct routine site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits.">
  • Collect and interpret environmental site data, supporting reporting and continuous improvement.">
  • Coordinate and deliver environmental inductions and training, including EMS awareness for construction and operations personnel.">
  • Provide day-to-day environmental support and advice to project managers and site staff.">
  • Report audit outcomes and compliance findings to the Construction and Project Managers.">
  • Support the delivery of targeted initiatives around dust, waste, vegetation, and biodiversity management.">

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • 5+ years of environmental advisory experience in a construction, mining, or heavy infrastructure setting.">
  • A strong understanding of WA environmental legislation, approvals processes, and compliance obligations.">
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a site-based, fast-paced construction environment.">
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and influence compliance outcomes.">
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.">
  • A driving license.">
