Sustainability Expert

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct audits and facilitate risk assessments to identify environmental risks and ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance, training and educational awareness to senior leadership, project managers, and contractors on environmental matters.

You will also develop and maintain project or site-specific environmental risk management plans and procedures, engage with local communities and stakeholders to support environmental initiatives, and develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives of our Environmental Management Systems.

This role requires you to be innovative, strategic, and analytical, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies, as well as experience in environmental risk management, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement.
