Bid and Estimating Coordinator

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a rewarding career in the construction industry within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor tender portals for expressions of interest (EOIs) and requests for tender (RFTs), ensuring timely sharing with the team.
  • Establish and maintain accurate project and client records in our enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Manage SharePoint folders, access, and documentation effectively.
  • Collaborate with the team to coordinate updates to confidentiality deeds, bid programs, budgets, and organisational charts.
  • Oversee version control of client documents, tracking updates and sharing them with the team.
  • Manage tender communications, including requests for information (RFIs), and coordinate responses from the team.
  • Schedule and organise tender review meetings, preparing supporting packs and presentations.
  • Assist with coordinating debriefs following unsuccessful tenders to support continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Be highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally with exposure to bids, tenders, estimating, or construction.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and document management skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn the pre-contracts/bids process.
