Electrical Project Engineer for Data Center Remediation

About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Data Center Remediation Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of electrical systems for our mission-critical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for data centers, including power distribution, lighting, and fire suppression systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including construction, commissioning, and operations to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and maintain design documents, including schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams to ensure high-quality results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in electrical design and project management for mission-critical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience with design software, such as ETAP or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations for Australia and New Zealand.
- Experience with continuous operating redundant electrical systems, cooling systems, and EPMS/SCADA/BMS controls systems.
