Job Opportunity: Disability Support Worker
We are seeking a reliable and committed individual to provide high-quality care as a Disability Support Worker.
The role involves working with adults who require high physical support, including those with ABI's, high intensity support needs, and behaviours of concern.
Essential requirements include:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a disability support worker.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, vaccinations (including COVID), CPR & First Aid, right to work in Australia, 100 Points of ID, valid driving license, and access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance.
- Qualifications such as Cert III in Individual Supports, Cert IV in Disability, Mental Health Care, or equivalent or higher are preferred.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, integrity, honesty, reliability, and a good sense of humour. The role involves ongoing online knowledge and skills development, as well as regular onsite training sessions.
