About the Role

As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you will work closely with individuals to navigate their NDIS plans and ensure they are getting the most out of their support services.

  • You will provide empowering support to enable recipients to make informed choices about their lives.
  • Your key responsibilities include coordinating a range of services to support recipients in living fulfilling and meaningful lives within the community.
  • You will engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, service providers, and families, to ensure that supports and services are leveraged effectively.
  • Another important aspect of your role is working with recipients to strengthen their ability to coordinate their own supports and live independently.
About You

To be considered for this rewarding role, you will have:

  • A genuine interest in mental health and the disability sector.
  • Lived experience or working knowledge of the NDIS.
  • Experience adhering to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A commitment to best practice.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • The ability to quickly and effectively engage with individuals.
  • The ability to work with diverse communities and individuals.
Role Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the mental health sector.
  • Nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates.
  • A current Queensland drivers licence.
  • A roadworthy, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You.'
