About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Director - Security Solutions Specialist to join our national team of security services professionals providing security and risk solutions to our key clients.

As a member of our global network of architects, designers, planners, engineers, and environmental scientists, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across Queensland and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality, creative, value-added detailed design solutions that fit the needs of our clients and communities, including:
    • Integrated Electronic Access Control, Security and Building Management Systems
    • IP-based integrated Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and Video Analytics Systems
    • Electronic Security Systems, including High Security Type 1A Alarm Systems
    • Communications and Electronic Security Networks
  • Undertaking and reporting on Security Risk and Threat Assessments (SRTAs) for federal and local government agencies and clients
  • Project Management and delivery of project solutions to program and budget
  • Building and maintaining trust-based, long-term professional relationships with clients across all levels

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) / Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ)
  • Demonstrated, recent experience in the security environment
  • Eligibility for Commonwealth Government Security Clearance
  • Recent working experience with government agencies, especially correctional facilities and defence
  • Security risk management degree/diploma
  • Eligibility to obtain Security Licence
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
